About the

The global shift toward sustainable living has become a pressing issue and has never been more relevant. Yet, compared to Europe, Southeast Asia has lower average scores in social and environmental sustainability practices (European Commission, 2021). How do we ensure that our decisions remain environmentally sustainable?

We aim to connect youths from Southeast Asia to participate in a
Sustainability Forum with representation from the government, academia, private sector, and non-profit organisations to collectively seek sustainable solutions to environmental issues and initiate conversations around sustainability topics. Jointly, the event will be followed by a Sustainable Project Management Training Program in which student leaders will share the same platform to be guided in designing social impact projects and advocate for change by incorporating sustainability ideas into their university initiatives.

A Hybrid Global Outreach Program.

Connecting Southeast Asian youths together to form a powerful network of change-makers who will drive beneficial environmental and social impact for years to come.

Contributing to the Global Goals.

We are proud that the planning and implementation of the SEA Youth Sustainability Summit 2023 are focused on two of the United Nations Global Goals.

Goal 04: Learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, global citizenship and culture’s contribution to sustainable development (Target 4.7).

Goal 13: Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning (Target 13.3).
